The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service wishes to invite KCSE Candidates who did not get any of their choices on a competitive basis to revise their course choices during the second revision of course choices, which will be done online from 7th to 11th June, 2022.
How to know if you need to revise your choices
- Look for your KCSE index number in the list of students who were not successful during the first revision of course choices. The list is available here.
- If it is in the list, log in to the Student’s Portal, select other courses from the available programmes and submit.
- ALSO, Log in to your portal and you will see a message informing you that you are required to revise your choices. If you provided valid phone numbers during the application, an SMS has been forwarded to your contact asking you to revise your choices.
The candidates will choose from programmes that have not filled their capacities after the first revision, which have also been published on the student's portal.
The Degree and Diploma Programmes with unfilled capacities will also be available on kuccps.net.
Candidates who had paid revision fees during School Application and during First Revision will NOT be required to pay for the Second Revision.
In addition, previous years' K.C.S.E. examination candidates who did not qualify for government sponsorship in the respective year will also be given an opportunity to apply for artisan, certificate and diploma programmes.
Any applicant who fails to qualify for their choices but meet the cut off points for placement may be offered any course with unfilled capacities taking into account the minimum requirements for admission.
The relevant guiding information such as Degree and Diploma programmes available per University and College, subject clusters, similar programmes, previous cut-off points (where applicable), weighted cluster calculation by performance index as well as the procedure for application will be accessed as downloads from the same website.
