Friends are what make or break us on campus.
Everyone comes to the university alone and with a single purpose of studying
and ultimately graduating with First Class Honors. However, along the way, lots
of things happen and we end up with First Class, Second Upper, Second Class and
those who don’t graduate at all.
Worse still, there are those who drop out of
campus along the way to pursue other things and those who die!
Whichever class our campus journey falls in is
hugely influenced by the kind of friends we keep. Our friends will determine
our relationships with books, the library, the pub, the shopping mall, sex,
drugs, eateries and even our beds!
Our college friends become kind of family: we eat
together, take naps together, fight, laugh, cry, and do absolutely nothing
together until we can’t! In the presence
of our friends on college, we have the freedom to do absolutely nothing; to
become whomever we want without feeling guilty about it.
That’s why this August; we are celebrating the bond
of friendship. From Chronicles of
Friendships by Ivy Kiche through The
Twists and Turns of Friendships by Vavine Shikali to Must Have Friends on Campus by Neemo Muraya, the August Edition of The Campus Lady Magazine is packed with
more than just inspiration to keep you on the edge of your seat until you read
the last page.
Let’s turn the friendship page together. Shall we!!
