The GoK has
resolved to admit additional 10,000 Government Sponsored Students to Private
Universities with effect from 2016/2017 in order to increase access to
University Education for Kenyans. The beneficiaries of this program will be will
receive the same government financial support as those selected to join Public
Universities.
We therefore wish
to inform 2015 KCSE candidates who
scored a B – of 56 and 57 points (girls) and 58 and 59 points (boys) that the
online application system will open for application for placement of Government
Sponsored Students to Private Universities on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at
0000 hours and will close on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at midnight.
Please note that this application is only for the unplaced 2015 K.C.S.E.
candidates who scored a mean grade of B – of 56 and 57 points for girls and 58
and 59 points for boys.
