The year is flying at an alarming speed, it could cause an accident! If I were an American Citizen, I would have said “someone please call 911!” but we are stuck here in Kenya where I am not sure whether you will get an emergency response when you call the Kenyan Version of 911—the little known 999. Please try calling and let us know the response you get from those guys in the discipline force (sic).
It’s April already and I get another chance to let you in to yet another exciting edition of your now favorite download magazine—The Campus Lady. I have, to however, start by acknowledging the works of the Almighty God for enabling me reach the 2016 Semifinals of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. That was no mean feat considering the thousands and thousands of applicants who didn’t get the chance.

This April, we decided to focus on the ladies who are doing something more than just attending lectures in our campuses. We christened this month’s edition as ‘The Boss Lady Edition’ to celebrate the ladies who are taking charge of their lives and adding value to their lives and those of the people they interact with.
We sought to shade light on important aspects of the boss lady, dispel the rumors, misgivings and hearsay about this special category of campus ladies; while at the same time encouraging the rise and rise of more of such ladies of substance. This is one riveting edition that you can’t afford to read alone without sharing with your friend!

This month’s cover model is the embodiment of our theme this month.
